New Anti-Spam Laws For South Africa
Under the current laws in South Africa companies can send unsolicited marketing emails as long as they identify who they are and provide an unsubscribe service. However, new legislation, currently under review, would forbid companies from sending out mass marketing emails unless they have permission from the receiver to do so and also only to notify the receiver of a product similar to what they had original bought.
