Getting spyware on your PC is the most annoying thing that can happen to you. Not only is it inconvenient, but it can tie up your computer's resources, and cause all kinds of havoc.[br][br]If you have spyware on your PC, one way to get rid of it is to download and install an anti-spyware program. Many antivirus programs today also include anti-spyware as well as anti-adware. So you get to cure more than one problem at the same time. [br][br]You simply purchase a copy of the program, install it, and let it scan your system. By doing this when it finds a spyware program it recognizes from a database of spyware programs listed, the program will destroy the spyware.[br][br]Another way to get rid of the spyware is to go into Control Panel, click on Add/Remove Programs, and locate any program you do not recognize that should be on your system. Then remove it. [br][br]These are the primary ways to remove spyware from your computer. In nine out of ten cases, these steps worked to resolve the spyware problem.[br][br]The best recourse for not getting spyware is not to download shareware programs unless you know the source of the file. But the best way is to install a program that can monitor your PCs hard drive and Internet connection for any attempts at spyware to get downloaded to your computer. This way the program is deleted before it even gets on the hard drive. [br][br] |
