I just received an email offering an anti-spyware solution. I clicked on the link to learn more about it. What happened to my computer from clicking that link? [br]

In cases of receiving spam email with a link inside, this is usually an invitation to get spyware on your computer. All you have to do is click on the link, and without you knowing it, the spyware is downloaded to your computer and installed. You won't realize this until later when you start seeing the results of the install. You'll begin seeing pop-ups, and a slowdown of your system. [br][br]Whatever you do, don't click on any link in an email that comes from someone you do not know. This is especially true if the email comes as spam. This is a great invitation for spyware. Your best option is to ignore it.[br][br]In your case, since you already did click on the link, I would run some kind of anti-spyware program to find and delete the spyware before it starts doing damage to your system.
