If you keep getting email even after you have requested the email be stopped, you can report this to the FTC. For example, if you get an email from a company and you click on the remove me link, but it doesn't work, or you simply reply back to the company from the email received and request removal from their mailing list, but no action is taken, you can go to the FTC's website and file a complaint. This complaint will be acted on by law enforcement officials. Make sure to include the full email header. This helps law enforcement officials to track down the offender easier.
