Does online email services use spam filters? [br]

guest - June 15th, 2009 6:53 PM

Most online email services use spam filters to stop spam from coming in and infiltrating inboxes. These spam filters may not be enabled. You may have to enable the spam filters so they will work. Some online email services will not use spam to free users. You may have to pay for a service to get spam filtering. [br][br]An example of an online email service is Yahoo. Yahoo does have a free online email service as well as a paid version. In order to use their spam system, you will have to enable SpamGuard. Once this is enabled, all spam is sent to a spam folder and deleted after one month. You do not need to pay for it for it is part of the options you can use free. [br][br]

Can someone tell me what to do about junk email containing phony unsubscribe links? I'm being hounded several time a day by such an outfit - called Viadeo. Clicking on their option to unsubscribe leads to a log-in page.
