Can anyone point me to best practices for working within EU email spam laws? It would be nice to learn how other people are successfully working effectively. Thanks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you

am I understanding the law correctly? If someone unsubscribes because of unsolicited email AND you send them an email telling then where we got their email address, is that SPAM, unlawful?
I say it is my boss says no. I say it will just make them angrier, she says it will change their mind.
