Is it possible that spam mail can cause a virus to appear on a computer?[br]

Yes. There is spam mail that can carry a virus with it and can load into memory when it gets downloaded into the email program. The person merely has to open the email and the program runs by itself. This is actually quite common unfortunately. This is why people hate spam so much. Not only is spam an inconvenience, it can be hazardous to your health. [br][br]It doesn't take but one spam email to raise havoc on a PC. Hey, that is really all it takes for a virus away from email to attack a computer. It only takes one virus to attack. This is why spam filters are so important. [br][br]
