I have a friend who claimed he received an email one day last week, offering to provide adult entertainment for free. All he had to do was download this free viewer and it will reconnect him to the site where he can watch the videos. Is this legit? [br]

No this is spam email. It is also considered a scam as well. What usually happens in this situation is if the user used dial-up to connect to the Internet, when the viewer is downloaded, the program disconnects the user and reconnects to another number without the user knowing it. In the next month's phone bill, the user sees a charge on the account that he/she may not recognize. In some cases this charge could be as much as $7 a minute. So depending on how long the user stays connected is how much the charge will be. [br][br]Adult entertainment is really illegal in many areas of the country. And if the person is below 18, this is also a crimnal offense. So your friend had better be careful. He may have been the victim of a scam and spam email, but he also could be charged with a crime of his own. [br][br]

A computer crash can occur at anytime and on any computer.

By backing up your files--personal documents, financial records, and digital pictures--you can ensure that you will never loose your precious and irreplaceable information.

There are many ways one can back up a computer: special equipment or online programs, which are becoming increasingly popular, can help you to create a sort of 'insurance policy' for the protection of all of your computer-based data.
