Do scammers just target females, or do they target other groups to?       [br]

Based on statistics by the FTC and the AARP, it seems that the most people targeted are seniors. In fact, nearly 50% of those who fall victim to scams seem to be people 50 years of age and older. This doesn't mean 50 is considered being a senior. The survey just shows that the people most attacked are the older ones. [br][br]If you are considered in the 50 year or older age bracket, you may want to think about this one. Because you are 50 years an older, you may be more susceptible to being targeted. The best advice around that is to be alert and know the signs of scammers and what they do. If you get a phone call from a telemarketer about a certain product, excuse yourself and hang up the phone. Always protect yourself. You'll be glad you did. [br][br]
