I recently began a new job and a background search was done on me and I was told at that time that another person came up under my social security number.

Ive had credit monitoring services in the past but have never seen any fraudulent activity posted on my credit.

My question is how wary should I be, and im assuming this person didnt have my best interests in mind when they obtained my number......what should be my next several steps to avoid anything criminally taking place towards me?

Oh ya another question...can I get this persons name removed? Thanks, would appreciate an y and all comments.
