I just received a letter in my inbox in my email program about a company overseas looking to hire people in the US to work for them. I just need to submit certain bits of information to them like my SSN and other information. Is this considered fraud? [br]

It could be. Any time you get any email requesting personal or financial information in exchange for an opening with a company, especially if it is overseas, you can almost guarantee it  is fraud.[br][br]Most companies that do business overseas will not need to hire people in America for any reason. They have bank accounts overseas. Even if the company wanted to expand to America, companies would not use email to recruit people. They would already have direct contacts with recruiters and other personnel to expand their business to other markets. [br][br]Any time you see any kind of employment email, just delete it. You'll be glad you did. [br][br]

It is for this reason, the sharing of the wireless Internet connection, that protecting your computer when wireless is even more important than ever before.
