I heard there is a fraud center. Are they backed by the government and what do they do? [br]

No they are not backed by the government. They are a nonprofit consumer organization operated by the National Consumers League. You can learn more about them by going to www.nclnet.org.[br][br]Their main purpose is to help consumers fight fraud by providing necessary information, so consumer will know what fraudulent activity is taking place so they won't become victims themselves. The agency provides a way fro consumers to file complaints about the fraud so that law enforcement agencies can act on the complaint quickly. [br]
