I heard that backing up files is important, especially on a network. What files are required to be backed up?[br]

Backing up files is important for business owners and large enterprises, since they deal with important files. Many of these files are related to financial subjects that are confidential. Other files that are handled include legal subject and medical records. Whatever is vital, urgent, and confidential to keep on hand, is backed up. [br][br]Normally in back up sessions, the actual executable files are not backed up. Instead, just the data is backed up. And based on the backup software, the data that is arranged to be backed up, is set up for incremental backup. This means the entire file is backed up the first time. Then, only data that has been changed recently is backed up. [br][br]No matter what backup system used, nor the business itself, the fact remains the data that is normally backed up, is data that has to be kept handy for future use. [br][br]

A computer crash can occur at anytime and on any computer.

By backing up your files--personal documents, financial records, and digital pictures--you can ensure that you will never loose your precious and irreplaceable information.

There are many ways one can back up a computer: special equipment or online programs, which are becoming increasingly popular, can help you to create a sort of 'insurance policy' for the protection of all of your computer-based data.
