Do I need to use external backup software to copy files from my hard drive to another drive?

To answer your question the answer is no. You do not need to purchase any kind of external backup software program. Windows XP provides a great backup software that is very sophisticated. All you need to do is run the program and follow the on screen instructions. The software will run and perform all functions for you. The program will give you the option of what to backup and where you want the files copied. [br][br]
