If you find your PC is running slower than it normally did in the past, this is a sign that something infected your computer and is running in the background in memory and hogging your resources. [br][br]This situation can be reversed if you act right away before any major damage is done. The best way is to go online to Symantec or another antivirus website, download their scanning software, and run a full system scan on your PC. This way if a virus did attack your system, the virus can be detected and destroyed. [br][br]If you do have an antivirus program installed on your computer, either it is not active, or the virus definitions are outdated. You will need to check into this or you may end up getting more virus attacks. [br][br]Even if you do not have a virus, but have adware or spyware instead, a good antivirus program will eliminate that as well. Make sure you are well protected. [br][br] |
