I have a friend of mine who happens to live in China and he told me that China just instituted a new law to fight computer viruses. Is that true? [br]

Based on reports, China seemed to have adopted two regulations that will work to reinforce the ability to stop computer viruses in the future. This happened because of a "Love Bug" virus that attacked many computers in the country and the world a number of years ago. [br][br]Basically, the new rule states that if there is a confirmation of a virus, the Ministry of Public Security has to step in and put in place antivirus software that will get rid of the virus, instead of an individual software producer doing it. [br][br]This effort has received rewards as the Ministry of Public Security was able to destroy the "PINGPANG" virus when it first hit computers in China. [br][br]
