To prevent a virus from attacking your computer, there are several things you can do. You can increase the security of your computer so as to block dangerous files by using a firewall. Set up your firewall to block intrusion and block any downloads that are infected with a known virus. Also make sure your antivirus software subscription is kept current. This way any viruses that should get downloaded, the antivirus program can get rid of the virus before it has a chance to do damage.
