Is there a way to restore a computer that got infected by an adware program, instead of using a scanner anti-virus or anti-adware scanner? [br]

In Windows XP, the operating system has restore points so if something goes wrong, the operating system can go back to a previously saved restore point. This way any program that was installed and did some kind of damage to the software, using the restore point would eliminate this problem. [br][br]The restore point is located under System Tools and can be quite affective. If you have an adware program and you want to get it out of the system, you just use a restore point that was previous to the day you got the adware, and the operating system will reinstall the settings for the operating system files that were enabled previous to the adware program being installed. Many people have used this method and found it worked very well. [br][br]
